Hotel Delfino

I can’t believe this is closed…I really hope it’s for renovations or something…God. Everything about this place was magical. If not for the steps down to the crashing waves or a view so surreal of Capri that you feel like it’s yours, but the passion their kitchen had for the cuisine; I barely left the hotel for food. I spent my honeymoon here. I really hope it’s not gone, for the sake of anyone looking for an incredible, unique hotel.

Beautiful hotel, setting and views. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a half board stay here, the evening meals are of a very high standard to the extent we felt no need to try the a la cart restaurant. Other reviews suggest a sea view, one thing to bear in mind is these rooms get very hot during the day whereas ours with garden view at the rear was consistently pleasant even without the air conditioning on. The view from the open sided lounge is a great compromise and equates to some awesome sunset viewing. Just nearing the end of our 11 day stay here, will miss this lifestyle and Ernesto's charming and playful character at mealtimes.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Spotlessly clean, fantastic views, good choice of breakfast and evening meal, albeit the evening meal was a set menu, there was at least a choice of 4 starters, 4 main meal and 3 deserts every night which was never repeated during our 7 night stay. Reception staff and Waiters were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from Sorrento with a free shuttle bus which provided a great service during the day and evening. Restaurant and bar area have spectacular sea views overlooking Capri. Only disadvantage we found about the hotels location was there was no where to take a stroll after our evening meal as it was very hilly with little pedestrian footpaths. Apart from that we loved it, and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Hotel Delfino for a lovely holiday

A wonderful surprise. We booked the hotel based on the reviews and I have to say, they don’t lie. There is a very good variety of prices from standard rooms all the way to the suites (they totally feel 5stars level) to which you can access directly at -3 level very convenient for pool and restaurant since they are closely located. The facility is good size and in my opinion should have a gym, in 2020 you must have a gym especially if you want to stay in the same place without leaving. The staff from front desk to the crew by the restaurant is impeccable, friendly and very well trained. I was there for 5 days with my wife and a 5 months old baby and they were beyond kind to us. I would definitely stay there and I can’t recommend it enough. Ah, almost forgot..the view and the sunset are INSANE since you have Capri literally in front of you!

I’ve been here 5 times now and my son’s been 6. Boo covid or we’d have been twice more. Outstanding and magical place, and the view of Capri still takes my breath away. I never thought I’d say this about a holiday destination, but I don’t ever want to go anywhere else. Add to all this a spotlessly clean hotel, and the friendliest and most helpful of staff; we feel like we belong to an extended Italian family. I’m simply under its spell. Can’t wait to see the refurb. Thank you!

My experience here was amazing. Great dervice by the piantas and a great beach view outside. The fruit was also amazing here in the hotel lobby. The rooms are also very nice to stay in. Only issue was 2 delfinos fighting always outside my room. I also enjoyed my experience in the casino of the hotel. Would go here again.

Everything about the hotel exceeds expectations. During the current global pandemic we were lucky to return to this hotel after our holiday here last year to find that it is still a part of paradise. Absolutely everything is first class. The food is excellent. The cleanliness exceeds that of most hotels that I have stayed in. As for the staff, ALL are exceptional and nothing is a problem. A free shuttle service to and from Sorrento is brilliant. I cannot wait to return again next year. A massive thankyou to everyone concerned for making holidays at this hotel so fantastic.

One of the best views in the region. Very clean hotel and very well trained, friendly and presented staff. Good food, exceptional location although a little remote from other facilities / services. However this is more than made up by the setting and in any case the hotel lays on a shuttle bus free of charge to Sorrento and central Massa Lubrense. Come here to relax in a very intimate location.
